卡利山度假村

We heard that the road leading to the resort was bad, so we had prepared for it. Yes it is bad in patches, no you dont need a 4x4. If you are calm and watch the road you can avoid 90% of the potholes which are wuite shallow. Now to the stay. What an amazing place to visit. We arrived and had such a friendly greeting from everyone we encounted, including guests. The room was fantastic. Very upmarket. 23b.. great view but would have liked 23c rather as the view isnt obstructed as much by side walls of sticks from orher chalets. No worries though. A short walk in the front grassy yard and the mighty views greet you, with mountains and a large dam below. Dinner was a bit long to get to us but with cocktails in hand and good conversation you quite forget the food anyway. Once it arrived it was tasty and warm with good presentation and even better sauces.

Although a lovely setting, good luck trying to get a decent night's sleep here. There seem to be no rules for noisy guests... .we had terrible sleep both nights of our stay. We won't be visiting again.
